How We Work

Production Elite provides a specialist recruitment service for the TV production industry. Our aim is to help the best freelancers stand out from the crowd so that employers can find them quickly for their productions.

We have built a trusted and efficient recommendation service by limiting the number of people we represent in each key production role or specialism, placing over 300 people on high profile productions since our launch in 2007 (see our list of credits). Our freelance members are carefully selected through an application process that is entirely based on the past requests of our clients and from our own experience as recruiting production and talent managers.

The application process for freelancers is simple:
1. Apply to join here on our website.
2. We'll let you know if you have been successful.
3. Log in to your member account and build a free standard profile
4. Upgrade to the Premium Service to take your profile online

Previously, clients have come to us with staffing requests and we have provided them with a shortlist of suitable freelance members from our books. We are still offering this personal service, with the added exposure for Premium members of an online profile and access to our jobs board through the new site. Priority will always be given to our Premium members when employers make direct requests.

Employers can also advertise jobs exclusively to our Premium members and we'll save them time by forwarding the most suitable applicants.

Once you are a member we will act in a similar way to an agent, putting you forward for jobs that come through from employer searches or direct requests. We will take care of everything from arranging interviews through to negotiating rates and our small fee (see our terms of use for fee details). You will also be given invaluable one-to-one advice throughout the process.

We offer two Premium Membership packages:

The registration process for employers is free, quick and simple, with the added benefit of access to our searchable freelancer database and jobs board:

1. Register for free with company details and logo.
2. Contact us directly with a request and we'll shortlist suitable applicants and send you CVs.
...or log in and search our exclusive database and request CVs or arrange interviews through us.
...or log in, place a job advert and we'll shortlist suitable applicants for you and pass on CVs.

Our service is free for employers and once we have sent on CVs or shortlists, we simply agree the rate and arrange interviews. If successful, the freelancer is contracted directly by the employer at the previously agreed rate.
